Training on Textile Quality Control for Bangladesh Army Held
at NITER
The Department of Textile Engineering at NITER successfully organized a four-day training program titled "Quality Control of Textiles and Clothing" from July 7 to July 10, 2025. The training was specifically designed for members of the Inspectorate of General Stores & Clothing (IGS&C), Bangladesh Army, aiming to enhance their technical knowledge of quality control procedures in textile products.
During
the training program, faculty members and technical officers conducted sessions
covering key aspects of textile quality assurance, testing methods, and
industry standards. The training featured hands-on demonstrations and
interactive discussions to bridge theoretical concepts with practical
applications.
Participants
expressed high levels of satisfaction, noting that the training provided them
with valuable insights into textile quality control—an area they previously had
limited exposure to. Their positive feedback highlights the program’s
effectiveness in delivering relevant and impactful learning experiences.
NITER
looks forward to organizing similar industry-focused training initiatives in
the future, strengthening collaborations with national institutions and
promoting technical excellence.
